Russian attacks target 10 residential buildings in Nikopol.
Russian forces carried out new attacks on the Nikopol district in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast on the night of 15–16 November.
Valentyn Reznichenko, Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Military Administration reports that the situation in the Nikopol district was tense overnight. The Russians attacked three hromadas: Marhanets, Nikopol, and Chervonohryhorivka. They fired Grad [MLRS] rockets and heavy artillery on cities and villages. There are no casualties or fatalities.
In Nikopol, Russian projectiles hit 10 private houses. They damaged outbuildings, cars, a gas pipeline, and several power lines. A fire broke out in one of the houses. Firefighters have since extinguished the flames.
10 Russian missiles reach Lviv Oblast airspace, and 1 person was injured.
Early on 16 November, Maksym Kozytskyi, Head of the Lviv Oblast Military Administration, announced that more than 10 Russian missiles reached Lviv Oblast airspace. In the aftermath of the strikes, one person was injured and 700,000 subscribers had their electricity supply cut off.
During the massive-scale attack on Ukraine, more than 10 enemy missiles reached the airspace of our oblast. Our air defense forces shot down most of them. Air Command Zakhid [West] - You are Heroes. Thank you!" Kozytskyi reported.
Unfortunately, three critical infrastructure facilities were struck.
Currently, there is one casualty in our region. The condition is serious.
Kozytskyi added that about 700,000 subscribers in Lviv Oblast were without electricity due to strikes on the energy infrastructure.
However, as of early 16 November, electricity was restored.
Reminder: On 15 November, Russian missiles targeted the city of Kyiv, as well as Khmelnytskyi, Rivne, Volyn, Lviv, Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, Kirovohrad and Kharkiv oblasts.
